Popularity seems to go towards video games!

However, for those of you who are not electronically savvy here is a little tip.

I'm sure you've heard of the Nintendo Wii. This gaming system, in my opinion, is fantastic for kids, teens and even adults. It's a great way to spend a cold Saturday night with the family! Yes, it's a video game, but and I mean a BIG BUT! This game system along with some smart game choices not only captures the attention of the family for electronic entertainment but it gets everyone, and I mean everyone off the couch!

I have to admit that I have tried the boxing, golf and tennis and after a half hour with my son, I was sweating! Plus, it was time spent doing something together!

The only thing I have to say is good luck getting one before Christmas. You may have to bribe someone to stand in line for you at your local electronic supply store.

Now, I am not saying that other games aren't an option. My son still enjoys playing board games like backgammon, chess, Trouble (Frustration for the younger generations) and of course Monopoly!

These are just some suggestions from me. Have fun with your kids no matter what kind of game you play!
